United Home Loan Services, Inc. named Charner Creecy as the company’s first director of communications.

“Charner is our first executive who will be dedicated to growing the business through new marketing and communications tactics,” said Billy Howard, President of United Home Loan Services, Inc. “Since opening in 2006, referrals and relationships have been the basis of our growth. Now, Charner will be responsible for increasing our brand awareness and generating clients throughout the Southeast.”

Creecy brings nearly 14 years of experience in marketing, communications and brand management to her new position. Prior to United Home Loan Services, Inc., Creecy managed marketing and communication departments for corporations, including The Cliffs; nonprofits, such as United Way of the Midlands; and served as the social media manager at BRIGHT+CO Marketers.

“It is an exciting time to be in the mortgage industry, especially with a business that continues to grow from its long-standing relationships,” said Creecy. “Leadership has cultivated a diverse team that maintains the company’s values of transparency and integrity internally and in business operations. I look forward to expanding these values to create great customer experiences from a digital mindset.”

Creecy earned a bachelor’s degree in public relations from the University of South Carolina and a master’s degree in leadership communication from Queens University of Charlotte. Outside of A native of Columbia, S.C., Creecy has served on boards and committees for United Way of the Midlands and Fresh Start in Columbia, S.C. She is an active volunteer and committee member for Habitat for Humanity of Greenville County and serves as a communications consultant for Edisto Habitat for Humanity.
